Philosophy

Kountry Kids Early Learning Academy provides full-time and part-time programs for children from birth to 5-years-old. The academy is not your average childcare facility, we are a center that goes above and beyond. Our teachers use the most current, proven methods to ensure children have fun while learning the skills they need for long-term success in school and life. We understand how important the early years are to both you and your child. This is a time of remarkable growth, when children are experiencing rapid development, learning new skills, and progressing steadily towards physical, intellectual, and social-emotional milestones. With that in mind, our curriculum provides intentional guidance and rich experiences that build upon individual strengths and talents. With our child development professionals at their sides, children at Kountry Kids Early Learning Academy are assured of getting the care that they need, the creative learning experiences they enjoy, and the intellectual challenging opportunities that they deserve. We offer numerous enrichment programs for all ages on a daily basis which include: Music, Sign Language, Child-Oriented Yoga, Creative Movement, Drama, Science, Creative Arts, and Physical Education. At Kountry Kids Early Learning Academy we believe that fueling your children with the right nutrients is a key component to their academic development. We provide a wholesome breakfast and lunch along with morning and afternoon snacks. Menus are planned out a month in advance and will be sent home with your child at the beginning of each month. Our meals are served family-style and help children learn social graces and exercise self-reliance. A comprehensive communication plan keeps you informed about your child's daily experience, curriculum, schedule, and key dates. Newsletters, calendars, parent-teacher conferences, regular email, and face-to-face communication with Kountry Kids Early Learning Academy teachers and staff are some of the important ways we share information with our families.

Health & Safety

We do our best to maintain strict cleanliness and hygiene standards. Children's hands are washed upon arrival, before and after meals and after toileting as well as coming in from outside. We use paper towels for drying hands, so children do not have to use the same towel. All employees are required to wash their hands frequently and also use antibacterial gel. Each child will have their own separate nap cot. Their cots are wiped with disinfectant daily. You must take your child’s blanket home every Friday to be washed. Children use separate cups, plates, bowls and eating utensils that have been thoroughly washed. We disinfect toilet seats and clean potty chairs between each use. Under no circumstances may a parent bring a sick child to daycare, if the child shows any signs of illness (see SYMPTOMS REQUIRING REMOVAL OF CHILD FROM CHILD CARE), or is unable to participate in the normal routine and regular day care program. Sick children will expose all children and staff members who they come in contact with. These people can in turn expose the other children. Sick children want care from their parents in the comfort of their own homes. If other children become ill due to exposure to your sick child, either because he/she was returned to daycare before full recovery or because he/she was not picked up promptly upon notice of becoming ill, other parents will be unnecessarily inconvenienced. Because this is disruptive to other children and their families, your cooperation on this issue is extremely important
